Travel Dates are set

It is hard to believe we started this journey just 12 months ago with an application to AAC in Colorado and now we are less than three weeks away from leaving for China to pick up our new daughter.  We first reviewed her file in June and made the commitment to adopt her then.  Since that time, new photos and updates have kept us holding on to the dream of seeing her face and welcoming her into our home.  We recently even received a DVD of her caught on camera looking shy and perplexed as to what was going on.  Many voices of women can be heard speaking all at once.  Our Chinese friend Ting Ting listened and told us they were saying, "she loves to sing and dance," and "she knows over 20 songs in school" and "she talks very loud," all the while Jing Yi is looking up searching their faces for a clue as to what was going on.  One scene in the video shows her in school in the middle of a circle of kids and the teacher with Half the Sky is getting her to sing a song and do the hand motions.  Her voice is so soft that all the other children's voices drowned her out, but I can see her lips moving.
